Article: A Good Walk Spoiled? Not With a Pull Cart

Meanwhile, American girls beat the Europeans at the Ping Junior Solheim Cup this week (star Alexis Thompson was undefeated), but just as portentous was the use of pull carts by both sides. To help prevent back problems in young bodies, the elite American Junior Golf Association last year lifted the ban on pull carts for kids 12 to 15 and this year for all competitors. Perhaps more golf clubs (some consider pull carts tacky) will catch on soon. Golf is meant to be a walking game.
