Director of Product
Position Objective
Dynamic Brands is looking for a Director of Product to join our team in Richmond, VA. The Director of Product is responsible for leading the Product Development department, planning, design, and development of new and innovative product, resolving functionality issues raised by end users, communication with factories and suppliers, and enhancing each brand in the Dynamic Brands portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of product development cycle
- Research latest industry developments in materials, concepts, and decoration
- Plan implementation and merchandising strategies
- Forecast sales and product demand
- Manage cost models and pricing strategies
- Execute product setup using software system
General Responsibilities
- Manage team of Product Managers
- Consistently work to improve product, quality, and processes
- Work with leadership on proof of concept and new initiatives
- Interface with current and potential vendors
- Act as main point of contact for factories
- Assist Purchasing Team with factory orders
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with golf and the sporting goods industry

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years in product development
- Minimum of two (2) years management experience
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
- Light to moderate lifting may be required
