National Veterans Day Ceremony


Experience the solemn and moving National Veterans Day Ceremony that takes place annually on Veterans Day weekend. The event, organized by Historic Programs, is a heartfelt musical tribute that begins on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. A processional led by Marching Bands and JROTC Cadets proceeds from the Lincoln Memorial to the DC War Memorial, and then continues on to the World War II Memorial. Veterans Day at Arlington National Cemetery


Join the remembrance ceremony at the Memorial Amphitheater in Arlington National Cemetery. This is one of the major annual remembrance events hosted here, and draws around 5,000 visitors.
